At PAPA, we strive to do our part in helping ensure that no qualified individual who aspires to become an aviation professional has to give up on their dream, solely because of financial reasons.
We are proud to provide over $550,000 in annual scholarships and benefits in conjunction with our partner organizations. Here’s to breaking down barriers in aviation!

Past Scholarships
United Aviate Scholarship
United Airlines has partnered with PAPA to provide financial aid to our members seeking to join the United Aviate Academy. Applicants must first apply through the United Aviate website. Once accepted into the program, you will become eligible to apply for the PAPA scholarship.
You're eligible to apply for the United Aviate Academy if you:
Are at least 18 years old
Are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

FedEx Express Scholarship
Our sponsor and partner FedEx Express is providing a $5,000 scholarship to PAPA members, to be put towards tuition and fees related to the pursuit of a career as a commercial airline pilot.
In addition, the recipient will also receive a campus visit to the FedEx Memphis World Hub with hotel and airfare included. There will be a scholarship presentation ceremony, and opportunity to network with FedEx leadership.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Hold a FAA Private Pilot’s License, or greater
U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
Receiving flight training certifications (CPL, CFI, etc.)
Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of personal strengths, leadership, and financial need. Community service and extracurricular activities may also be considered.

Regional Airline Association (RAA) Scholarship
The RAA is offering three (3) annual scholarships in the amount of $4,000 per recipient to current students who are studying for a career in the airline industry. Click here for the scholarship flyer.
Applicants must be officially enrolled in an accredited college or university in a program leading to a career in the airline industry at the time of application and award. Applicants will be considered from other programs/majors, if the applicant’s goal of a career in airline management can be demonstrated through work experience or the personal essay.

2022 Hayward Air Rally EAA Scholarship
The 2022 Hayward Air Rally EAA Scholarship is now open! The scholarship provides the winner(s) with an all-expenses-paid week-long attendance to Session 2 (July 29 - August 6, 2022) of EAA's Advanced Air Academy in Oshkosh, WI, and overlaps AirVenture 2022.
The 2022 Hayward Air Rally EAA Scholarship deadline is February 15, 2022, so apply now!
